The UAE national team take on Iraqi counterparts in the final of the 21st Gulf Cup at the National Stadium- Bahrain on Friday January 18, 2013. Kick off 6.45pm.

UAE defeated Kuwait 1-0 and Iraq edged hosts Bahrain 4-2 on penalties shootout.

UAE beat Qatar 3-1 in the opener, prevailed over Bahrain 2-1 and defeated Oman 2-0 in the final leg of the group stage before they edged Kuwait 1-0 in the semi-final.
