Abu Dhabi National Oil Company unveils new measures

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) unveiled it is about to take new measures to curb congestion at its fuel stations nationwide amid increasing demand for diesel triggered by the economic boom in all sectors. It announced in a statement Saturday that it has commenced taking measures by specifying appropriate timing for fuelling of the heavy-duty vehicles at the highway fuel stations far from urban gatherings to curb traffic jams, adding that more diesel pumps will be provided to the fuel stations to help fuel more vehicles. ADNOC added that the main office in Abu Dhabi and other offices in Al Ain, Western Region, Sharjah and Northern emirates would introduce pre-paid traveller electronic cards that would specify needs of vehicles diesel.
