First Gulf Bank (FGB), as one of the leading financial partners of choice in the UAE and with its deep understanding of the UAE community and its culture today launched its new Personal Budgeter Savings Application.

The new application was created as part of FGB’s Corporate Social Responsibility, “Community First” initiative, which aims to positively contribute to society. The Personal Budgeter was designed to educate customers on the importance of saving, and to provide an interactive yet user friendly mechanism allowing them to organize their income and expenses in an efficient manner.

The application allows its users to perform budgeting activities within seconds. Not only does it provide customers with methods of tracking their personal and work expenses, it also supplies visual aids in the form of tables, along with graphs to illustrate the state of personal finance, in turn giving customers a more realistic overview of their spending power. The application also offers a forecaster tool which allows customers to predict their savings on a monthly or annual basis, and provides them with personal reports to monitor their finances. Another feature to be integrated soon will provide users with a reminder about their recurring payments/transactions via Outlook.

FGB’s Personal Budgeter is fully compatible with iPad, iPhone, Blackberry and Windows. Customers can download the application for free from the Apple store for iPhones and iPads and from Blackberry App World for Blackberry Bold and Curve users.
