ADAC Presents World’s First National Geographic Interactive Screen

-Part of ADAC’s commitment to delivering innovative and state-of-the-art technology for travellers- - Showcased at Terminal 1 over four days -

 

As part of a Live Augmented Reality campaign for National Geographic, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is hosting a large augmented and interactive reality screen in the Terminal 1 transit area. For four days, starting 14th July, creative works of art will be displayed in a never seen before way offering travellers an exclusive experience.

 

The innovative National Geographic campaign provides a unique new concept in which allows passengers to experience near-live visuals and an opportunity to interact with different types of animals and creatures. As passenger traffic increases this summer season, Abu Dhabi Duty Free is experiencing high footfall, enhancing the audience for this one-of-a-kind innovative works of art.

Eng. Ahmed Al Haddabi, Chief Operations Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports Company, said: “ADAC is honored to have been given the opportunity to host a first in the world augmented reality screen for National Geographic. ADAC is committed to delivering unique travelling experiences with high quality services for passengers and will continuously strive to present new innovative and state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.”

With mission programs supporting critical expeditions and scientific fieldwork, National Geographic encourages geography education for students, promotes natural and cultural conservation, and inspires audiences through new media, vibrant exhibitions, and live events.

The interactive screen which gave a “WOW” factor to the airport’s Terminal 1 is 2.5 x 4 meters in size allowing 40,000 passengers to enjoy this creative campaign.
