Manchester City FC coaches will this summer teach young players – 6 to 14 years olds - the skills and techniques used by the team’s superstar players.
Starting on Sunday, June 24, the club’s School of Football in Abu Dhabi will run four weeks of professional coaching based on individual players from the Premier League champions.
The week begins with boys and girls learning how City’s powerful midfield leader Yaya Toure manages to stay so comfortable on the ball at all times.
On Monday players will be shown how silky-skilled Samir Nasri dribbles so well with Tuesday’s session focusing on the tricks and turns used by mercurial striker Mario Balotelli.
Wednesday’s coaching looks at how top goalscorer Sergio Aguero manages to hit the target so often with a fun tournament then ending the week on a high.
Head Coach at the School of Football, Simon Hewitt, said: “Our sessions are based on the coaching used at Manchester City every day and we stay right up-to-date with everything happening at the club.
“We have coached hundreds of children in Abu Dhabi since we launched last season and this summer we wanted to make it a little different.
“By showing them how the City players do it you really excite the young players and it helps them improve during every session.”
The summer School of Football sessions, held indoors, are part of the ADSC Summer Games at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi with prices ranging from 695 AED for one full week to 1800 AED for all four weeks.
