Mohammed Bin Zayed orders allocation of 2000 houses to Emiratis, upon directives from Khalifa bin Zayed

Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, inspected today evening the Al Falah Residential City project, which has been allocated to Emirati families upon directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The project is an integrated residential city that consists of 4,857 villas of different sizes and designs built over a total area of 12.5m square meters to suit the lifestyles and needs of all different beneficiary categories of UAE citizens.

Accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice-Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, His Highness viewed the first and second phases of the project which comprises 2,000 homes including facilities and utilities as well as Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s Mosque which accommodates 2,000 persons. H.H. the Crown Prince was briefed by Mr. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Deputy CEO of Aldar Properties, on the plans for executing the remaining units and was satisfied with the project running on schedule and the unit designs being well-suited to Emirati families.

Acting upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has given instructions to allocate 1,000 government residential units of the first phase in Al Falah Residential City in Abu Dhabi. The units will be allocated to the first-batch beneficiaries whose names have been approved as per the lists developed by the committee entrusted with the allocation of houses and residential plots. New lists will be developed for the second batch of beneficiaries including 1,000 villas and will be delivered accordingly.

On this occasion, Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, reaffirmed that the UAE leadership has a civilized vision for development based on the UAE citizen to whom it gives utmost interest and provides all possible means for a better living standard.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed extended sincere thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his many kind initiatives including this one which is among the best projects carried out for our citizens. H.H. noted that our wise leadership is following the footsteps of the founder of the UAE the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who laid the first block of our nation and put it on the right track.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed added that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is moving ahead with uplifting the UAE citizen, learning about his needs and responding to his expectations, believing that our citizens are the most valuable resource for progress and better future. H.H. further reaffirmed the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on providing citizens with all the means for a dignified living, and therefore several housing megaprojects, including this integrated one, have been launched all over the UAE.

H.H. the Crown Prince was also accompanied by Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA); Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA); Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Finance Department; Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development; Abdulla Rashed Khalaf Al Otaiba, Chairman of the Department of Transport; Major General Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, Deputy General Commander of Abu Dhabi Police; Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council; H.E. Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs; Saeed Al Muqbali, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Local Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Jabr Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Falah Al Ahbabi, General Manager of the Urban Planning Council; Khaled bin Shaiban, Director General of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council; Khalifa Mohammed Al Mazroui, General Manager of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City; and Dr. Matar Mohammed Saif Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality of Al Ain City.

The Al Falah Residential City is one of the citizen residential projects that have been launched in continuation of the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was keen on providing citizens with appropriate homes, facilities and services. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan believed that the prosperity and well-being of UAE citizens were the basis and goal of all development plans, and it is in continuation of this approach that the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow up of Gen. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ensue to provide luxurious residential units in order to ensure a higher standard of living and a better future for all citizens.

Jabr Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and chairman of the housing allocation committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, noted that the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan focus on providing all means of decent living and welfare for citizens, especially comfortable, modern homes that ensure a happy family life.
